Community Submission for WECOSS Alerts

Do you have details on recent opioid poisonings (overdoses) that may be helpful to share? Let us know by submitting a response.

The Windsor-Essex Community Opioid and Substance Use Strategy (WECOSS) is a network of local organizations that come together to reduce the harms related to substance use at the community level. The WECOSS is looking to collect additional information about opioid overdoses in the community to enhance our Opioid and Substance Use Notification System (OSUNS). The OSUNS puts out community alerts whenever there is a spike in substance use events in Windsor-Essex.

If you have information about a particular substance of concern or areas where a high number of opioid overdoses occur, we invite you to share this information. By doing so, we can coordinate community resources to better support people who use substances.

Community Guidelines

For your safety and the safety of others, please keep in mind the following guidelines when submitting your response:

  • Do not share identifying information of people who use substances (names, nicknames, descriptions).
  • Do not share information about a person who sells drugs identity or location.
  • Use respectful language.

Submissions are governed by the LimeSurvey Terms of Use (www.limesurvey.org/en/terms-conditions).
